The community response to this situation has been stronger than even we expected. We’ve gotten a lot of requests for “how to help” so here is what we need:
- Sign our Petition to show your support
- Voice your opposition at all Daly City Council meetings (the second and fourth Monday nights at 7pm) .Email the Council (by 4pm the day of the meeting): citycouncil@dalycity.org with the subject Line: “Public Comment on Olympic Club Retreat Center”. Instructions for attending the meeting via Zoom (register by 5pm the day of the meeting at the link in the instructions) and provide public comment at the end of the meeting.
- Email the CA Coastal Commission: julia.koppmannorton@coastal.ca.gov
- We need referrals to lawyers (open space, geotechnical engineering, Coastal Commission appeals)
- Sign up for TBBP updates
- Follow us on Twitter
- Help us spread the word: Post about this situation on social media/Nextdoor, email our petition and this site to your friends
- Volunteer for our PR Committee (contact us at info@thorntonbeachbluffpreserve.com)
- Attend a public hearing when the time comes (to be notified sign up for updates)
